Evening Doxology
June 1, 2016

This is to balance out the "Morning Doxology" and bring closure to the day. The tune is the familiar one used in Christian and Unitarian services. Written in 1551, it is certainly in the public domain!:

This day is done, I've done my best.
I give to Ptah my cares and rest,
For he hears each troubled prayer.
Tomorrow brings fresh chance so fair.

Ptah is called in the ancient texts "The Great Hearer".
(Feel free to substitute another Name should you wish!)
