Morning Doxology
February 11, 2016

In an effort to bring more music into my "Shrine Time", I've come up with a "Morning Doxology". The tune is the familiar one used in Christian and Unitarian services. Written in 1551, it is certainly in the public domain!:

And now the day begins anew,
Another chance to seek what's true.
May Set's power be in me,
And Hathor endow heart's beauty.

Variations:

Kemetic:

May Set's power be in me,
And Bastet endow heart's beauty.
(Or Bast-Mut)

May Sekhmet's strength be in me,
And Bastet endow heart's beauty.
(Or Bast-Mut)

(Or Who-ever speak to you of strength and beauty!)

And for the Late Start:

And now the day is halfway through,
Still a chance to seek what's true.
May Set's power be in me,
And Hathor endow heart's beauty.

Christian/Generic:

And now the day begins anew,
Another chance to seek what's true.
May God's power be in me,
Holy Spirit endow heart's beauty.
