Coiled-snake bracelet with punched-dot inscription, the name LYSAGORAS Ptolemaic Dynasties, 3rd century B.C.E. Gold, Max. diam: 7.5 cm. William E. Nickerson Fund 1964, MFA #64.2172 Photo ©Joan Ann Lansberry, 2014
"Bracelet in the form of a coiled snake, inscribed: LYSAGORAS (in punched-out dots) on the inside. Made in two sections and repaired in antiquity." (From museum website) , Museum website photos show the punched-dots better than my photo, but even a close-up look of my fuzzy photo shows them a little. Getty Villa has several more examples of these snake bracelets, which must have been popular.
