Although this piece is an intuitive piece, my intuitive mind must have remembered Japanese prints of ladies with cups of tea as I drew and colored it. The scene is so frequent, it even shows up in fabric. One of this year's creative Yuma County Fair contributors made a kimono using such fabric: Detail of the lady with her tea cup (By Marie O.
