Intuitive Drawing: Pay Date

After putting up yesterday's entry, "Figures of Flight and Fancy", I got curious about more of Chagall's art, and so found a fascinating site with lots of prints by Chagall. Only the wealthy will be purchasing there, however!

After looking at all that luminous color, I found myself itching to make my own attempt. I wasn't content with just the line drawing, though. I wanted color and lots of it. I just grabbed pencils and layered it up.

What this piece means, I'm not sure. Is the lady RECEIVING a check for money, or is she preparing a check to send by May? She does not look unhappy about it, so I'm going to take this as something beneficial.
