"Even More Little Patches of Neatness"
2:03pm

The boxes are still all around me in various stages of emptyness. But I have the living room bookcase all arranged!

The third and fourth shelves in our good bookcase are all my things. The paperweights came from my father, who had collected them. The bells are from my mother's estate. The mother and daughter giraffes in the back are from my mother's things, as is the little peacock. I bought the three peacocks with plumage extended at an antique store here in Yuma. The egg with the giraffe was a gift from our friends. The vase at lower shelf center came from Egypt.

The small bowl was an Ebay purchase. It has Egyptian scenes carved into it, but I don't know if it was made in Egypt. The candlestick on the left was from my mother's things. I got the candlestick on the right from a 'Partylite' sale some friends of ours had several years ago. It was named 'Lexington'

I bought the statue of Naga Kanya back in 2005.

The bookcase in its entirety!
